Gherardo Vivarelli
Gherardo Vivarelli, co-founder of Energy8760, has more than 20 years’ experience in energy, having developed skills in financing clean energy infrastructure projects, including renewable energy and energy efficiency, focusing on origination and structuring of both debt and equity investments, portfolio expansion, structuring and executing project finance transactions.
He has closed transactions in developed and emerging markets, negotiating contractual provisions and PPA with government entities and lending facilities with commercial and development banks. He has worked for both the IFC and the IIC, as well as for Gestamp, SECI and Solarcentury as an investor, developer and EPC provider in project finance roles worldwide.
Gherardo has a BA in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna and an MA from the Johns Hopkins University - SAIS.
